Founded in 1988 by local citizens, the foundation was created to pursue artistic excellence in all cultural activities. By supporting local artists of all ages, and by broadening awareness and appreciation of the fine arts, the DFAF strives to enhance and enrich the community by offering opportunities for art appreciation, education and participation, and by integrating art into the public spaces of the community.
